Disability swimming special for returning Channel 4 show

4 May 2012

The fourth series of That Paralympic Show returns to Channel 4 this weekend with the first episode dedicated to swimming.

Airing on Saturday 5 May at 1.20pm, the programme features the British International Disability Swimming Championships (BIDSC) held at Ponds Forge last month where athletes such as Ellie Simmonds and Sasch Kindred sealed their 2012 credentials.

Presenters Rick Edwards, Ade Adepitan MBE and Iwan Thomas MBE look back at the Sheffield trials, while Paralympic gold medallist Giles Long explores the theory that London's aquatic pool could be faster than any other! Sounds a great way to spend a Saturday.
