Change of venue for 2012 Masters Championships

17th November 2011

British Swimming regret to announce that the Plymouth Life Centre will not be completed in time to host the British Gas Masters and Senior Age Group Championship (50m) on 16 March 2012.

Plymouth City Council Leader Vivien Pengelly said: "We are obviously disappointed that the centre will be opening a few weeks later than expected but we have to remember that this has been a major project to create a world-class facility that will cater for the city’s sporting needs for many years.”

British Swimming would like to apologise to anyone who has started to make arrangements to attend the event and are looking to secure an alternative venue as soon as possible.

Further information will be announced as soon as it is available.
