The ASA T-30 Challenge 2012
16 Nov 2012
The ASA T-30 Masters Challenge has returned for 2012.
This event challenges Masters swimmers to see how far they can swim in 30 minutes and is open to all Masters from Great Britain, irrespective of ASA membership.
Swimmers can enter as individuals or can combine to form single-sex or mixed teams to represent their club or leisure centre.
T-30 swims must be recorded in a pool that is at least 25 metres long between 1st November 2012 and 31st January 2013.
All competitors will be provided with a lap chart to help recorders accurately measure the distance swum. It is recommended that each swimmer has their own timekeeper to record split times and an official in overall control to signal the start and end of the challenge and to verify performances.
ASA Medals will be awarded to all swimmers placed first, second or third in their age category and to all teams placing first, second or third. All swimmers will be sent a commemorative certificate.
The entry fee for the individual events is £5.00 and the entry fee for teams is £10.00.
The closing date for entries to be received by the ASA National Events Office is 5pm Tuesday 5 February 2013. Entries can be made on the ASA website.
