The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Silver for Hall-Jackson in European Open Water Cup

Young Open water swimmers excelled at the first leg of the LEN Open Water Swimming Cup in Eilat.

Danielle Hall-Jackson was second in the ladies event behind the Hungarian swimmer Eva Ristov,  with Lucy Campbell in third and Kristina Neves was fourth.

In the men’s event Caleb Hughes was the top Brit, coming home in fifth place ahead of fellow Brit Thomas Sunter who was sixth.

Archie Mitchell came home in 11th place with Ben Goodall 13th leading the second groups of Brits to the touch.

Bradley Lynch followed him in 14th, Joe Faulkner was 15th and Joel Knight finished in 16th place.
