The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Eindhoven to host 2014 IPC Euros

The British Gas GBR Swimming Team have set their sights on the Netherlands after the International Paralympic Committee confirmed the 2014 IPC European Championships will take place in Eindhoven.

The Championships will take place at the Pieter van den Hoogenband Stadium between 4 - 10 August 2014.

The Brits have an impressive record at European level, having won 27 golds and 83 medals at the previous staging in Berlin three years ago.

Many of the team will also have fond memories of Eindhoven which hosted the 2010 IPC World Championships where GB won 15 golds and 52 medals.

Britain's top Para-Swimmers will aim to qualify for Eindhoven at the 2014 British International Disability Swimming Championships (BIDSC) in Glasgow. Click here for more about BIDSC.
