New swimming ‘TV show’ to launch at BIDSC

Swimming.org will be launching a new event TV programme at this month’s British International Disability Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

'The Fast Lane' – which will be broadcast on the British Swimming website on each day of the Championships – will feature interviews, full race highlights and live studio discussion from swimming experts.

Paralympian and IPC World Championship medallist Kate Grey will host The Fast Lane alongside experienced BBC and Sky Sports broadcast journalist Bob Ballard providing the commentary.

You will still be able to follow the Championships during the sessions on the British Swimming website through live text updates from the heats, Twitter and Facebook coverage and poolside video interviews.

The 2013 British International Disability Swimming Championships will take place between 25th – 28th April and double up as trials for this summer’s IPC World Championships in Montreal for the British entries.

Britain’s top disability swimmers will take on international rivals from 22 different nations with 13 London 2012 Paralympic champions down to take part in Sheffield, including five of GB’s six gold medallists.
