Allen storms to two silvers in Tokyo

Sophie Allen continued her run of form at the FINA World Cup in Tokyo, winning two silver medals in the 100m Butterfly and the 200m Individual Medley.
Competing in the penultimate event of the series, Allen took on Olympic medallist Inge Dekker and showed a strong back end to her race to finish in second place and take her first medal of the evening.
The British Gas ITC Stockport swimmer finished in a new personal best time of 58.24.
Allen was back in the pool in the 200m Individual Medley and finished just behind former world 400m IM champion Katinka Hosszu. The Brit touched in a time of 2:07.85.
Also in the pool was Ieuan Lloyd who secured fifth place in the 400m Freestyle with a Welsh record time after touching in 3:44.66.
