Jessica Dickons and Ellen Gandy led home a British one-two in the 200m Butterfly on the final day at the Victoria State Championships in Melbourne.

World University Games champion Dickons had set a 200m Fly personal best in Eindhoven at the end of 2011 and continued her good form to take the final in 2:09.50.

Gandy – who had already won the 50m and 100m Butterfly titles in Melbourne – had qualified fastest for the final in 2:10.47 and followed her British teammate home for silver in 2:11.39.

Dickons’ British Gas ITC Bath teammate Michael Jamieson also won gold on day three in Melbourne in the 200m Breaststroke.

The Commonwealth silver medallist, who had won 100m Breaststroke silver the previous day, touched in 2:12.15 while teammate Andrew Willis finished in 2:13.97 for bronze.

Dan Fogg stormed to a third British gold in the 1,500m Freestyle, finishing in 15:39.10 with another Brit, Jack Burnell, collecting silver in 15:41.38.

Elsewhere, there were silver medals for Siobhan-Marie O’Connor (2:15.08) in the 200m Individual medley and Roberto Pavoni (4:23.78) in the 400m Individual Medley while Kate Haywood (31.70) won 50m Breaststroke bronze.
