2 Apr 2010

Eileen Adams passed away this week following a courageous battle against cancer.

Eileen led the City of Aberdeen Swim Team programme for a long and successful stretch. She was then seconded to Scottish Swimming for two years while she focused on coaching Robbie Renwick and on her own professional development in the lead up to Beijing.

Eileen officially returned home to Glasgow last year after securing the head coaching job for the newly transformed Glasgow programme.  This was her dream job and she had the full support of the club, council, and governing body in her drive for Glasgow swimmers on the podium at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
