The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Renshaw appointed acting Head Coach at Loughborough ITC

Kevin Renshaw has been appointed as acting Head Coach at the British Gas Loughborough ITC following the departure of Ben Titley.

Renshaw has been based in Loughborough since 2005 and coached David Davies to a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Jo Jackson to multiple medals at the 2009 World Championships and 2012 Olympians Dan Fogg and Roberto Pavoni.

British Swimming National Performance Director Michael Scott said: “Kevin has a strong track record based on his great work ethic and unrivalled passion for the job. I look forward to working with him in his new role as he continues to develop the ITC in Loughborough.”
