Saunders adds silver at the World Junior Swimming Championships

Emma Saunders added another two medals to her growing international collection by claiming silver in the 50m Backstroke and a relay bronze on day five of the Junior World Swimming Championships in Lima.
Saunders, who won the bronze earlier in the meet for the 100m, touched in a new personal best time of 28.76 to take the medal.
The Girls 4 x 100m Freestyle team followed the lead by winning the bronze. The quartet of Amelia Maughan, Emma Saunders, Emily Jones and Jessica Lloyd smashed the time they set in the heats to finish in 3.45.99.
The youngest finalist in the Boys 400m Individual Medal, Matthew Johnson, finished a gutsy fifth in a new personal best time of 4.18.54 after a determined swim.
Rachael Kelly goes into the final of the Girls 100m Butterfly final with the fastest semi-final swim and 100m Breaststroke junior world champion Craig Benson goes into the 50m final ranked fourth.
