Tickets on sale for the British Gas Swimming Championships (50m) 2011

Tickets are selling fast for this event which will be held at the Manchester Aquatics Centre from 5th -12th March.

Rebecca Adlington, Liam Tancock, Hannah Miley, Gemma Spofforth, James Goddard...these are just some of the BIG names in swimming fighting it out at this year's British Gas Swimming Championships in Manchester for the right to compete to become the best in the world.

This summer's World Championships in Shanghai will be the last major long course swimming meet before the London 2012 Olympics. And the British Gas Swimming Championships is the primary trial event for the British team bound for Shanghai.

So, in short it is the single most important GB-based swimming event this year. And you don't want to miss it!

Tickets can be purchased via the British Gas Swimming Championships page on the British Swimming website, www.swimming.org/britishchamps and are £4.50 per heats and £6.50 for the finals.

Online ticket sales will only be available up until 25th February, after then tickets can only be purchased at the event if there are any left. There will be no tickets reserved for purchase on the day.
