Over the two-day meet the British Gas GBR Swimming Team won six gold medals as they competed alongside some of the world’s best swimmers.

Lauren Quigley win the 100m Backstroke and achieved a meet record as she took a second gold in the 50m Backstroke.

She touched in 1:01.38 in the 100m and set the record to 28.55 in the 50m. She also won bronze in the 200m Backstroke.

The other champions were Sophie Smith, Aimee Willmott, Georgia Hohmann and Elena Sheridan. Smith secured the time of 2:01.99 in the 200m Freestyle.

Willmott took a meet record in the 400m Individual Medley with a time of 4:42.06. She backed up her gold with silver and bronze in the 200m Individual Medley and 400m Freestyle respectively.

Hohmann won the 200m Backstroke in a new meet record time of 2:09.71 and also took bronze in the 50m Backstroke.

Sheridan won gold in the 200m Butterfly in 2:11.08 and silver in the 400m Individual medley in 4:51.71.

Eleanor Faulkner won three silver medals in the 800m Freestyle, the 200m Freestyle and the 400m Freestyle. Racing against Lotte Friis and Keri-anne Payne in the 800m Faulkner touched in an impressive 8:29.70 to win her silver.

In the 200m Faulkner touched in 2:02.36. She also took the silver in the 400m Freestyle after finishing in 4:10.36.

Middle-distance swimmer Ieuan Lloyd won two silvers and a bronze throughout the weekend of racing. He touched in 2:02.64 to win silver in the 200m Individual Medley and 3:51.40 to win silver in the 400m Freestyle.

His bronze came in the 200m Freestyle after he finished in 1:49.51.

Xavier Mohammed took silver in the 400m Individual Medley with a time of 4:23.31 and bronze in the 200m Individual Medley, just behind Lloyd, after touching in 2:03.00.

Jessica Fullalove and Tilly Gray won silver medals in the 100m Backstroke and the 200m Butterfly respectively. Fullalove finished in 1:01.68 and Gray touched the wall in 2:12.64.

Bronze medals went to Jessica Sylvester, Charlie Boldison, Thomas Sunter, Russell Smith, Joel Knight, Jessica Lloyd and Joe Patching.
