Randall’s brilliant bronze in Barcelona
20 June 2011
Olympian Jenna Randall put in a strong routine at the Spanish Open in Barcelona to win bronze in the solo event just two weeks before the holding camp for the World Championships.
Randall, who won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, has enjoyed a successful season so far and her moving solo routines scored well in front of the judges.
She won her bronze with a score of 89.6900. Spain’s Andrea Fuentes won the gold in front of her home crowd with a score of 96.9400. Yumi Adachi (Japan) won the silver with a total of 92.7500.
Randall and her Duet partner Olivia Allison finished in fourth place after showing their increased intensity throughout the routine.
