Synchro forced to withdraw from World Trophy

The British Gas GBR Synchronised Swimming Team have pulled out of the FINA World Trophy due to the illness of one of the athletes on the team.

The athletes competed in the Team event with the reserve swimmer but the difficult decision to pull out  was made after medical consultation showed that recovery of the athlete was going to take a couple of days.
