30 October 2013

A 13-strong British Gas GBR men’s Water Polo team has been announced for the LEN European Championships Qualifiers which takes place in Sunderland.

The event will be spread across four days beginning on 7 November and will see the Brits playing in four matches as they bid to seal their place at the European Championships.

The players are currently in Malta on a training camp and will use their time abroad to also take part in an international competition against the hosts, Holland, Israel and an Italian club team.

The team features nine Olympians and will see them getting back into international action for the start of the new season.
