The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

British clubs open first day of competition

London Otter, City of Liverpool and City of Manchester began their 2013 LEN European League qualification group with matches against tough competition.

To download information and fixtures for the LEN Women's Euro League Preliminary Group C in Manchester, click here.Competing in front of a home crowd at Manchester Aquatics Centre, City of Manchester played Hungarian side Szentes and lost 14-6.

City of Liverpool are also playing in Group C of the competition in Manchester and lost their opening match 27-6 against Greece team Vouliagmeni NC.

Meanwhile, London Otter are competing in the Netherlands and took on Het Ravijn in their opening match.

And while GB junior player Brooke Tafazolli scored a hat-trick for the British team, the final score was 27-4 (8-2, 7-0, 6-0, 6-2) to the Dutch side.

Tickets are available on the door to watch Group C matches in Manchester over the next three days.
