British men to host world champions

The British men will also face Russia in their qualification group with one team progressing to the Super Final in June 2012 after home and away matches over the next four months.

Manchester Aquatics Centre will host the Brits’ opening match on Tuesday 6th December as they take on an Italian side high in confidence after lifting the World Championship title in Shanghai earlier this year.

But the Brits are also in good spirits after ending their European Championship qualifying campaign with an 8-7 defeat of Georgia in Manchester in July.

And having shown encouraging performances across their domestic European teams in recent weeks, the British men will be fired up to cause an upset.

All tickets will be sold on the door at standard price (£5.00) or concession price (£4.00).

The match starts at 20:00 with supporters asked to be seated by 19:45.
