The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

British Water Polo seeking new assistant coach

The British Gas GBR Women’s Water Polo Team have begun their search for an assistant coach to work in their high performance centre in Manchester.

The candidate will work directly with new head coach Konstantinos Vamvakaris coaching the senior team in the daily training environment.

Water Polo received a 53.6% boost in funding after the London 2012 Olympics and the new coach will be an integral part of the team’s development towards Rio 2016.

The women’s team have made strides in recent years, qualifying for the 2012 European Championships and 2013 World Championships, the new coach will be a key part in keeping that momentum moving forwards.
