26 August 2013

They beat the Welsh side in their opening game, 29-5 with Beth Bolton lead the scoring with 6 goals. GB Captain for the tournament, Katy Andrew added five more.

The second match against Scotland proved to be a stern test and was close throughout.

GBR took the lead through a Hannah Patchett goal and continued to fight to maintain. They led at the end of the first half 3-2 following goals from Bolton and Grace Morley.

The final quarter proved equally as close with Andrew and Isobel Howe scoring to give the Brits a 5-4 lead going into the final minute.
