The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

GB Talent seeking head and assistant coaches

The British Water Polo Talent Development Programme is hiring head and assistant coaches to work with GB’s young squads over the next two seasons.

For more information and details on how to apply for these water polo coach jobs, head to Careers In Aquatics.Succesful applicants will coach British U14, U15, U17 and U19 (male only) teams over 2013/14 and 2014/15.

Candidates will require a Water Polo Coach Education qualification, or be working towards it.

All positions will be required to attend the National Training camps, to be held monthly between Jan and June 2014 and the same in 2015.

They may also be further domestic and international camps as agreed with the respective line managers.

For the U19 appointments, the culmination will be the 2014 European Junior competition. For the U17s appointments, the culmination will be the 2015 European Junior competition.
