The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Junior water polo athletes ready for squad selections

More than 400 youngsters will descend on Cardiff over the coming weekend with the aim of being selected as part of the British Water Polo Development programme.

Players will be looking to make it onto the British Gas GBR Water Polo teams for the coming year.

Click here to find out more about the British Junior Water Polo teams.There are three teams that will be selected: Under 14, Under 15 and Under 17 years.

The selected squads will have five further weekend camps in Cardiff, once a month through to June, and all squads will make international tours this season.

The British Under 19 programme will not form part of the National Talent weekends in Cardiff but will have bespoke activity as they, both male and female, head into their respective European events.
