The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Water polo juniors set for Euro qualifiers in Istanbul

The British Gas GBR Junior Men’s Water Polo Team start their European Championship qualification campaign in Istanbul on Thursday.

The Brits are in Group C of the Qualification tournament and will take on Russia, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Turkey over the next three days, aiming to finish in the top two spots of their group to progress to the finals in Malta in September.

The squad – coached by Csaba Rull – come into the tournament on the back of an encouraging bronze medal from the Slowianka Cup in Poland last month.
