The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Penultimate day of Euro League sees British clubs battle on

1 December 2013

The LEN European Water Polo League continued with the three British clubs suffering loss’ to tough competition.

In Manchester, City of Liverpool fought hard against Hungerit Vizisport Tamagato Szentes (HUN) but went down 15-4 (6-3,1-0,6-0,2-1).

Earlier in the day the competed against ZVL (NED) and the side beat the Brits 29-4 (9-1, 5-1, 8-0, 7-2).

City of Manchester took on Orrizonte Catania (ITA) in the morning but lost to a scoreline of 21-3 (6-2, 7-0, 5-1, 3-0).

In the afternoon session they took on ZVL (NED) but the Dutch side proved to be too much for the Brits as they lost 7-26 (0-6, 0-7, 4-7, 2-6).
