The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Women’s Water Polo team announced

The British Gas GBR Women’s Water Polo team has been announced for the LEN European Championship qualifying tournament.

"Our training has gone well and we're really looking forward to getting started" - Rosie Morris The event, which starts today in Gouda in the Netherlands, will see five teams battle for two places in the European Championships in Budapest in July.

GBR take on Ukraine in the opening match before playing Israel and the Netherlands on Saturday and Portugal on Sunday.

Captain Rosie Morris said: “Our training in Lille has gone well and we are all looking forward to getting started and playing Ukraine this evening.”
