In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Jonathan Fox

Jonathan Fox has rapidly developed into one of the top swimmers in the British Para-Swimming team, winning gold at every major international at which he has competed since 2009.

After making his IPC World Championships debut in 2006, Fox landed a medal on his first foray into Paralympic competition, winning S7 100m Backstroke silver at Beijing 2008.

He made his mark on his IPC Swimming European Championship debut the following season, winning three golds and two silvers, including the individual S7 100m Backstroke and 400m Freestyle titles in Reykjavik.

He won world S7 100m Back gold at the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven before completing his set of titles with Paralympics GB's first gold in the pool at London 2012.

Fox defended his world title and added S7 400m Freestyle bronze at the 2013 Worlds in Montreal.
