From a range of data files, programs and services to use on your computer through to medical guidance and minimum ages for competing, this section contains all the information you need to run a swimming competition.

Simply follow the navigation on the left to access a range of resources including technical information, qualifying times software, information on the general conditions under which competitions need to be held and a list of measured swimming pools across Great Britain.

Get competitive

Once you feel confident enough in progressing through your swimming lessons, you can take part in our various swimming competitions.

All our swimming championships are officially endorsed and the swimming pools have been measured up to either 25m or 50m.

One of our biggest competitions is the annual decathlon for over 25s, which involves all the different types of strokes to keep it as competitive as possible.

For some competitions there is a minimum age of 8 years old and throughout the events we use high-spec qualifying times software which updates quickly and efficiently.

Other swimming competitions include the British Swimming Masters and Synchronised Swimming, which is regulated by world class judges under the ASA. Recently, a new Synchro team of 5 girls were chosen after demonstrating excellent progress to their coach.

For the more adventurous, we offer Open Water swimming competitions which are far removed from the warm swimming pools and get you swimming in lakes and rivers all around Britain.

Some of the amazing results from all of our past competitions can be seen on our site's Swimming Records and Swimming performance tables, or for more information on what's happening in the future check out our extensive swimming events calendar.
