Appealing against loss of Funding

Hearing that you have lost funding to compete following a recommendation to UK Sport can be frustrating news to receive.

However, there is an appeal procedure in place if you feel you have a case.

The procedures contained in the document linked below have been adopted by the British Swimming Managing Board so that athletes can appeal against a recommendation to UK Sport to remove them from funding for a World Class Programme.

Athletes seeking appeal should be aware of the importance of time limits contained within the procedures.

These time limits are designed with the intention of resolving issues swiftly but justly.
