I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform which can be a good thing, but sometimes I can lose focus and create self-doubt.

Nerves, Excitement, Preparation these have been the major emotions I’ve been feeling in the last few days. My taper has been going really well, I’m starting to feel good and confident in the water which is helping to fight back the nerves of the competition to come.

I tend to get really excited in these last few days as I love to race, it’s definitely what keeps me in the sport, I love winning (who doesn't) and the feeling you get when you do an amazing swim. I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform which can be a good thing, but sometimes I can lose focus and create self doubt, but this is purely because I want to show everyone what I can really do.

My parents are great, they support me 110% and don't put any pressure on me at all, as they want to see me be the best that I can possibly be.

So the countdown is on, and I can’t wait. "Ain't Nothing To It, But To Do It". Look forward to seeing you there.
