Anne Bochmann

Anne Bochmann played a starring role at her first European Junior Championships in Belgrade in 2008, winning double individual gold over 400m Freestyle and 400m Individual Medley as well as 4x200m Freestyle Relay gold.

She added a fourth European Junior gold in the 4x200m Freestyle Relay in Prague the following season before winning her first British medal with 200m Individual Medley bronze at the 2010 British Championships in Sheffield.

Her domestic performances in 2010 earned her a spot on the England team for her debut Commonwealth Games at Delhi where she impressed, finishing fourth in the 400m Freestyle.

After struggling with a back injury over 2011 and 2012, Bochmann switched to train at the British Gas National Performance Centre in Bath under Dave McNulty and Graeme Antwhistle and showed signs of recovery with a fourth place finish in the 200m Freestyle at the 2013 British Championships.
