Jenna Randall blogs from San Francisco training camp
15 January 2011
Commonwealth silver medallists Jenna Randall and Olivia Allison are fine-tuning their preparation for the 2011 season at a three-week training camp in San Francisco. Catch up with the latest from the girls as they get to grips with their new duet techinical programme.
Hi everyone!
Olivia Allison and myself Jenna Randall have travelled to the USA for a three week training camp.
We are being coached by some of the top coaches in the world to choreograph a new duet tech program for 2011 and work on our current duet free, the spider routine.
We have been here for nearly a week now and its been a very cold experience so far!
Where we are training they don't have indoor pools, so we train outdoors in temperatures around 2 - 10 degrees depending on the day.
The pools are heated but not enough to make it nice enough that you don't constantly shiver!
Here is a picture to show you what we train in at 6am every morning. Our new mascot is choreographer Stephan's dog called Affa!
