Jodie Cowie’s GB Journey: Moving In!

10th February 2013

In January 2013, 15-year old Jodie Cowie was selected to train with the British Gas GBR Synchronised Swimming Team. She decided to write a blog to keep track of her exciting first year with the team.

It’s been a tiring week but it’s also been a fun one! We had Bisham yesterday, which is a land session from 8-12am.

We had lots of strength tests, like press ups, and also a few flex tests. It’s a really nice centre and it has some really complex equipment, which is cool.

Me, Gen and Lucy are moving into the new house today, and I will also get to see my mum after what seems like forever! Mum and Dad are hiring a van to bring my stuff up for my bedroom from home, so hopefully with all my normal stuff I won’t miss my room at home too much.

I’m really missing my doggies, Fizz and Tango, and the latest addition, Feisty, my sister’s new kitten! It’s so cute and cuddly, I can’t wait to give them all a hug when I go home next!

School work is hard to do online but I’ve been doing some everyday, although I’m missing my school friends a lot. I hope I will see them soon although still don’t have a set date to go back to school on yet!
