In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

In The Pool

Aspirations: To compete at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Finest performance: Swimming with the senior GB squad at the World Trophy in Mexico in December 2012.

Who has been greatest influence on you: My family, especially my mum and dad who have always supported me throughout my swimming career and my club coach Louise Woolley who has always been there for me and helped me get where I am today.

When did you begin synchro: When I was living in Canada at eight years old.

Out Of The Pool

Family members: Dad, Mum, Megan, Hannah (who is also in the senior GB team) and my two dogs - Bella and Roxy.

Studies: I am doing my A-Levels which are PE, Travel and Tourism and Business Studies.

Ultimate relaxation: Spending time with my family and friends.

One thing you can’t live without: My iPhone!

Tip for the top: Every knock back makes you come back stronger - if you really want something don’t give up.

Life after swimming: Either go to university completing a degree or get into coaching synchronised swimming.
