Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

In The Pool

Aspirations: To represent GB at the Rio Olympic games and beyond!

Finest ever performance: So far it’s been my Solo at Nationals in 2012, but I’m very proud of my first international medal performance at the Spanish Open this year.

Who has been greatest influence on you: My parents, and Jenny Gray.

When did you begin synchro: I started my synchro career at Witney and District Synchronised Swimming Club when I was 10 year old and was coached by Mandy and Steve Fuller.

Out of the pool

Family members: I have three brothers and an identical twin sister who is a rhythmic gymnast, my two dogs, Darcy and Bingley and my cat, Ozzy!

Studies: I will be taking my GCSEs this year and combine full time training with school and my tutors.

Ultimate relaxation: Hot stone massage, TV and sleep!!!!

One thing you can’t live without: My mobile phone of course.

Tip for the top: Believe in the beauty of your dreams.

Life after swimming: I’d like a career in the Army medical services.

Favourites

Sports: Synchro, women's artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics. 

Films: Don’t think I have one – never have time to watch anything more than once.

Music: I’ve loved choosing music to swim to.

Food: Lasagne and my Sunday lunch.

Hobbies: I don’t really have time for hobbies but I enjoy drawing and art.
