Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Aspirations: To be part of an Olympic Games.

Finest ever performance: Finalist in the Team Free at the 2013 World Champs.

Who has been greatest influence on you: My family as they have always supported me and always help me through hard times.

When did you begin synchro: At the age of eight at a club called Hythe, until I moved to Rushmoor a few years ago.

Out of the Pool

Family members: Two sisters, Charlotte and Emily, who used to do synchro with me at Hythe. One brother, Brian, who used to play football/rugby. My dad is a golf professional, and now teaches golf in London. My mum used to enjoy horse riding and playing the saxophone, and is now a postwoman.

Studies: Studying A-levels as well as being a full-time athlete.

Ultimate relaxation: Reading a book or watching a film in bed.

One thing you can’t live without: My laptop and my bear Mr Snuggles.

Tip for the top: Stay focused and train hard, because then you can achieve your dreams.

Life after swimming: Either become a coach, or physiotherapy looks quite interesting. Perhaps even take up dance again.

Favourites

Sports: Don't have time to do it anymore but I absolutely love dance!

Films: The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Ice Age 3.

Food: Dried mango and cookie dough.

Hobbies: Watching the Big Bang Theory and sleeping.
