In the Pool

Aspirations: To compete at the 2016 Olympics and to medal at a major competition.

Finest ever performance: Competing at the London 2012 Olympics.

Who has been the greatest influence on you: Gemma Millward, who was a member of my club. Also my family and my club coach Allison.

When did you begin synchro: I began in the summer of 2001 and we went on holiday and I was teaching my brother how to do it.

Out of the Pool

Family members: My mom used to swim for masters, my dad likes to play golf, my brother's a marketing executive and his girlfriend plays football for a team who my brother helps train. My sister owns a care company and runs a dog training business and my brother is a station commander in the West Midlands fire service. Also my brother-in-law who trains the dogs with my sister had his dogs appear in the Dark Knight Rises!

Studies: I am thinking about starting an online course in either psychology or child psychology.

Ultimate relaxation: Watching a film or listening to music.

One thing you can’t live without: My family and friends.

Tip for the top: Believe in what you can achieve. If you don't, no one will. Always put 110% in.

Life after swimming: I would like to go and volunteer in another country and then something to do with children but I am not sure yet.

Favourites

Sports: I like watching rugby and also athletics.

Films: The Blind Side, 7 pounds, and comedies

Food: Thortons toffee chocolates!

Hobbies: I don't really have any hobbies at the moment but after synchro I would possible like to take up cycling and do a sponsored bike ride.
