Holland keeps Aix-en-Provence on the winning path

Matt Holland helped Aix-en-Provence to their second consecutive win in the French Elite League this weekend.
The British goalkeeper starred as his side secured a comfortable 12-5 victory at home to SN Strasbourg.
Holland’s fellow British shot-stopper Ed Scott was also victorious over the weekend in the Spanish Division de Honor as his side CE Mediterrani secured a 9-3 win against CN Montjuic.
There were also victories for Rob Parker’s CN Terrassa, who stole the points with an impressive 7-4 win at CN Barcelona, and Jack Waller’s CN Sant Andreu with the Brit scoring twice in a 16-3 defeat of Mike Bourne and Ric Lawlor’s CD Turia.
Sean Ryder and Ciaran James both struck hat-tricks as the British players impressed in the German Bundesliga.
Ryder and Sean King played for SV Weiden as they won 7-5 at Glen Robinson’s SV Wurzburg 05 while James helped SV Cannstatt to a 10-9 win at Duisburger SV 98.
Elsewhere in Germany, Jake Vincent’s Bayer Uerdingen suffered two defeats at home to SGW Hannover (9-5) and Spandau 04 Berlin (6-5) while Will Middleton’s SC Wedding Berlin were edged out 8-7 at OSC Potsdam.
In the other European leagues, Dan Laxton scored as AZ&PC won 9-8 at Widex GZC Donk in the Dutch KNZB Cup, Adam Scholefield scored and Joe O’Regan played in PVSK-Fuszert’s 13-5 defeat at home to ZF-Eger in the Hungarian Vodafone OB I league, and Craig Figes’ Simply Sport Pescara lost 10-5 at home to Promogest in the Italian Serie A2 South.
