Men’s European Club Update - October 26

While the majority of the GB Men’s team travelled to Georgia for the European Championship qualifier, the remaining few were in action for their respective clubs.

All four ultimately played in the same match with Ciaran James, Mike Bourne and Ric Lawlor representing PSV Eindhoven and Charles Booth playing for Het Ravijn in the Dutch Cup quarter finals.

Het Ravijn had defeated PSV 11-9 two weeks previously but it was the Eindhoven club who had the last laugh in the cup, securing a 9-7 victory.

Bourne and Lawlor both played for PSV but it was James who shone brightest, bagging four goals including his side’s final goal to secure the win.
