24th October 2011

Only Widex GZC Donk stand above Parsonage’s team in this season’s league table and the Gouda-outfit maintained their position as they saw off AZ&PC on Saturday.

British player Dan Laxton scored twice for AZ&PC but with the match hanging in the balance at 6-6 going into the final quarter, Widex Donk scored twice to seal the win.

Rob Parker’s CN Terrassa secured their first win of the season in the Spanish Division de Honor, defeating Mike Bourne and Ric Lawlor’s CD Turia by 19-3.

Elsewhere in the Spanish league, goalkeeper Ed Scott played as CE Mediterrani lost 8-6 to CN Mataro Quadis while Jack Waller’s CN Sant Andreu suffered a narrow defeat, losing 11-10 to unbeaten league leaders CN Montjuic.

Finally, the French Elite league saw its first round of matches this weekend with goalkeeper Matt Holland’s Aix-en-Provence slipping to a 10-4 defeat against Montpellier
