Scholefield and O’Regan on target for Pecs

10th October 2011

Adam Scholefield and Joe O’Regan fired PVSK-Fuszert to their first league win of the season in the Hungarian Vodafone OB I league.

The British players scored a goal each as their side defeated Orvosegyetem SC 10-9 and recorded their first points of the season after last weekend’s 13-10 loss to last season’s runners-up Vasas.

Glen Robinson was in European action as his German side SV Wurzburg 05 took part in the second group stage of the LEN Euro Cup.

While SV 05’s European run was ultimately brought to a close following 16-4 and 21-4 defeats to Shturm 2002 Chehov (RUS) and Groupama Honved (HUN), Robinson found the net in both games.

Both Brits plying their trade in the Netherlands saw their teams secure victory in the Dutch Hoofdklasse.

Alex Parsonage’s UZSC Utrecht scored their third win of the season with an impressive 7-6 defeat of Widex Donk while Dan Laxton’s AZ & PC Amersfoort beat PSV Eindhoven 14-5.
