Waller’s Sant Andreu score a second win in three matches

Jack Waller helped CN Sant Andreu to their second win of the season as they saw off CN Catalunya in the Spanish Division de Honor.
Having also beaten CD Turia two weeks ago, Waller’s side made it two wins from three matches with a 6-2 victory at home.
Elsewhere in Spain, Rob Parker scored once as CN Terrassa lost 10-8 at CN Sabadell, Mike Bourne scored twice and Ric Lawlor played as CN Turia lost 17-7 at CD Navarra while goalkeeper Ed Scott played as CE Mediterrani lost 10-9 at CN Barcelona.
With many of the European leagues approaching their Christmas break, there were few other Brits in action.
Alex Parsonage scored for UZSC as they lost 10-7 at home to Schuurman BZC in their dead rubber clash in the Dutch KNZB-Cup.
UZSC and Dan Laxton’s AZ&PC will contest the Cup quarter finals in the New Year.
Ciaran James’ SV Cannstatt lost their first match of the season in Group B of the German Bundesliga as they were beaten 8-6 at SV Krefeld 72.
Finally, British captain Craig Figes’ Simply Sport Pescara lost 10-7 at home to Archigenes PN Acicastello before losing 14-10 at Payton Bari in their midweek fixture.
