British Swimming v Mr Marton Korbuly 2013/002


The sanction as determined by the Tribunal shall be :-

A.    Mr Korbuly is to be suspended from playing in all water polo matches, whether competitive or friendly, for a period of two years commencing 1st May 2013 with the second year suspended for two years commencing 1st May 2014. In the event that a further water polo complaint – be it under the jurisdiction of British Swimming, the ASA, the WASA or the SASA - is established against him between now and 1st May 2016 the one year period of suspended suspension shall immediately come in to effect. During the period of suspension he is to be allowed to train with his club.

B.    Mr Korbuly is to pay the sum of £100 towards the costs of the prosecution of this Complaint to be paid to British Swimming no later than 30th April 2013. If he fails to make such payment then the period of delay shall be added to the initial one year suspension.
