Ella Chadderton was called up to train with the senior team for the first time in 2009 after impressing with her performances at the 2008 European Youth Championships in Gyor, Hungary.

She made the step up to competitive senior matches in 2010, playing with the Brits in the Hungarian National League then travelling with the senior squad as reserve for a European qualifier against Israel in 2011.
Further junior international appearances have followed in 2012 at the European Under 19 Championships in Chelyabinsk, Russia, then as one of the most senior players on the GB roster at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Volos, Greece.

Greatest achievement to date: Playing in the European Junior Championships in Ukraine.
Aspirations: My aspirations in life would be ultimately to compete in the Olympic Games, but also to have a future in water polo through playing in different countries and leagues.
Who has been greatest influence on you: My parents and my coaches.
When did you begin water polo: When i was 11. Polo was always on after swimming so I decided to stay and watch and wanted to join in.

Other sports: Used to play for football for around five years.
Ultimate relaxation: Lying in the bed watching tv or listening to music.
