The ASA is seeking an aquatic officer, to cover maternity leave, to join the London and East Team to oversee the Essex area.

The purpose of the role of aquatic officer will be to promote and implement the strategic objectives of the ASA (governing body for swimming in England) and achieve the agreed targets set out in our Whole Sport Plan.

The successful candidate will have experience working with pool operators or another NGBs and they will need to be able to absorb and impart information to others, have a systematic approach to problems and work within standard operating procedures.

The role requires excellent communication skills, as it involves liaising with people both internally and externally. Project and time management skills are essential and the individual must have a flexible approach to work with an ability to work effectively both within a team and on their own initiative.

We are looking for an individual who is confident, consistent, and competitive, enjoys a challenge and thrives on variety and pace.

A DBS check will be required as part of this employment.
