Swim England are seeking a communications editor to join our team in Loughborough on a permanent basis. The working hours for the role are 35 hours per week (9am to 5pm) based at our SportPark office.

Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.

This is an exciting opportunity working within the Commercial and Marketing Department. You will be responsible for leading the development and publication of engaging content across key Swim England communication channels, including the website, digital and traditional media, and Swimming Times magazine. You will be involved in writing and commissioning articles and features that raise the profile of Swim England, working with a range of internal and external colleagues.

You will:

  • Have experience of editing and publishing a magazine
  • Have experience writing content for a range of audiences
  • Have experience of working with a range of online platforms and traditional communication channels
  • Hold a journalism, communications or a comparable discipline degree or equivalent experience
