The ASA, the National Governing Body for Swimming, is seeking a Head Coach to lead the effective management and delivery of the London Aquatics Centre Performance Swimming Programme and to undertake an effective liaison with the swimming clubs engaged in the programme
As the key post within the Aquatic Centre, you will be required to provide a high level of effective liaison and relationship management with the clubs in the Olympic/Paralympic host boroughs, extended club network and other partners such as GLL and the university sector
The successful candidate will also play the key role in management and development of all aspects of the London Aquatics Centre Performance Programme including financial and performance management.
The successful candidate will have already achieved results in developing a clearly defined and recognised performance pathway for swimming and in identification and development of swimmers throughout the region on the talent pathway towards podium success.
A persuasive influencer with the ability to get the best performance out of others, he or she will also actively seek new ideas and innovations to create performance gains and will set high standards for personal, team and programme accomplishment.
