The ASA, the national governing body for swimming, is seeking to appoint a qualifications and training development officer to become part of the Workforce Department.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with the internal ASA and British Swimming departments, external partners and ASA approved centres on the development of teacher/coach education provision through qualification, learning programme and CPD development at all levels, nationally.

Excellent communication skills through various media and at all levels are also essential. This requires an individual with a flexible approach to work, with the ability to work on their own initiative, act under pressure and work to deadlines.

It would be beneficial for the individual to have previously worked within a workforce development, educational and sport based environment.

This role will ideally be based at SportPark in Loughborough but may depend on the successful applicant's location.
