Kings Camps are looking for swim teachers/instructors to work on our UK camps for Easter and Summer holidays at various locations in the UK.

Kings Camps are a market leading non-profit organisation with sports and activity programs at over 50 UK sites and we help children and young people reach their potential. We employ over 1,000 students, teachers and sports professionals annually for our February, Easter, Summer and October school holidays.

As part of the Kings Camps team the swimming teacher/instructor (referred on camp as a ‘Swim Coach’) is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of all swimming sessions for groups of children aged between 4 and 17 years old. The Kings Camps swim programme includes a prescribed range of swim coaching, fun games and themed activities. In addition to the swim programme is Splash, a week long confidence development swimming programme for children aged 4-7years old.

Kings Camps are no ordinary camps; our coaching teams not only deliver high quality sports sessions, they embody our Kings Factor ethos. The Kings Factor is what defines us as and it includes an unrelenting energy and enthusiasm ensuring every child in our care is inspired.

Skills Match Essential • A recognised Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming ( Level 1 could be considered depending on experience) • A valid NPLQ, NARS qualification or National Rescue Test for Teachers. • Experience of working with children aged 4-17 in a swimming coaching/teaching setting. • A passion for sports • Great leadership and organisational skills. • A vibrant, fun and confident personality. • A team player with a willingness to adapt.

Desirable • Experience of working with large groups of mixed ability children such as in a school environment. • A valid paediatric first aid qualification
