Are you ready to battle against the UK’s best junior swimmers for the title of county team champions?
The countdown to the ASA National County Team Championships 2016 has officially begun with the entry pack released and entries now fully open.
The competition will take place on a familiar battleground with around 1,200 swimmers set to descend on Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Sports Centre on Sunday 23 October.
It is always one of the most anticipated events in the swimming calendar for the nation’s youngest talent. And following hot on the heels of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, this year should be no different!
Team GB Olympic medallists Adam Peaty, Jazz Carlin, James Guy and Siobhan-Marie O’Connor all competed at previous editions of the County Team Champs on their way to the top.
Who knows which stars of the future could be competing at this year’s event?
Entries will be submitted through the counties and not on an individual basis.

Each year, 39 teams made up from counties across England, Scotland and Wales come together for a spectacular display of swimming prowess.
Swimmers from 12 to 17 years old take part in the competition which takes place across two divisions.
Those who are in Division Two fight for promotion into the top flight. Those in Division One clash for victory and to avoid relegation for the following year.
