About Daniel Goodfellow

Daniel Goodfellow competed at three consecutive European Junior Championships between 2011 and 2013, winning 3m Springboard bronze in Belgrade in 2011 then Platform gold in the Group A age group in Poznan two years later.

Goodfellow also made senior international debut in 2013, competing at the European Championships in Rostock and World Championships in Barcelona.

While injury curtailed his progress in 2014, Goodfellow returned to the international stage in 2015 with a final appearance in the 3m Springboard at the FINA Diving Grand Prix in Bolzano.

He returned to the domestic podium at the start of 2016, winning 10m Synchro gold with Tom Daley and individual 10m bronze at the National Cup in Southend.

Daley and Goodfellow’s partnership quickly bore fruit, as the pair won bronze at the World Cup, silver at the European Championships and bronze at the Olympic Games later in the year.

Goodfellow made his Commonwealth debut for England in 2018, winning the 10m Synchro title with Tom Daley.
